Send data from Heroku Log Drains to Axiom

Use Heroku Log Drains to send data from your Heroku apps and deployments to Axiom.

Prerequisites

• Create an Axiom account.
• Create a dataset in Axiom where you send your data.
• Create an API token in Axiom with permissions to ingest data to the dataset you have created.

• Create an account on Heroku.
• Download and install the Heroku CLI.
• Create a Heroku app.

Setup

Configure Heroku Log Drains:

heroku drains:add "https://axiom:API_TOKEN@api.axiom.co/v1/datasets/DATASET_NAME/ingest" -a HEROKU_APPLICATION_NAME
